Prince Harry ‘struggled being full time royal’ says expert
The coronation of King Charles III will take next month with hundreds expected to attend the event to celebrate the royal occasion. Although it’s not yet known whether his son Prince Harry and daughter-in-law Meghan Markle will be joining in with the weekend plans. Speaking about the potential snub, royal biographer Robert Jobson spoke about Meghan’s influence over Harry.
Over the past few years, Prince Harry has made it no secret that his relationship with his father and brother William is fractured.
The rift between the royals is believed to have started after Meghan Markle’s Oprah Winfrey interview in 2021, one year after the duo stepped back from their senior royal roles.
Since then, the duo have made strong allegations about the firm and treatment they’ve received from the press in their Netflix documentary and Prince Harry’s tell-all memoir.
However, his father has extended an olive branch to the Sussexes by offering them an invitation to the coronation on May 6, the same day as their son’s birthday.
With the pair still to confirm whether or not they’ll be accepting the offer, royal biographer Robert Jobson joined Jeremy Kyle Live on TalkTV to speak about the potential snub.
When asked about Prince Harry and Meghan’s influence and if he believes they’ll be seen at the coronation, he revealed: “I think the Queen felt, from what I understand from people close to them, that his judgement was – he was so much in love with Meghan… that effectively it was clouding his judgement.
“That’s what Her Majesty thought.”
The royal expert confessed he believes King Charles will be forgiving of Harry’s recent antics as he’s his son.
Speaking about the pair not responding to the invite, he fumed: “I wish Meghan would realise it’s not all about her.
“They have been given an RSVP, they have missed that deadline. It’s getting a little rude now to say the least.
“You are either going to support your dad on his moment of destiny or you are not.
“But don’t just keep everyone guessing because that then creates the whole tabloid speculation, when it’s basically saying it’s all about them, and frankly it’s not all about them, it really isn’t.”

The coronation is currently expected to have a guest list of around 2,000 people with over 800 of those who have helped their local community selected by King Charles and Queen Camilla.
It’s reported 450 of those who have been chosen belong to a range of groups including The Scouts, Girlguiding UK and St John’s Ambulance.
The occasion will take place at Westminster Abbey with the Service being conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
A statement from Buckingham Palace reads: “Their Majesties The King and The Queen Consort hope the Coronation Weekend will provide an opportunity to spend time and celebrate with friends, families and communities across the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth.
“Their Majesties are looking forward to marking the occasion with the public throughout 2023.”
