Ranvir Singh and her fellow Good Morning Britain co-hosts were given quite a treat when a nude man popped by to pose for a life drawing.
ITV viewers received a rude awakening on Thursday morning when they tuned in to see Adrian posing completely naked with only a Good Morning Britain sign protecting his modesty.
Behind him were four elderly guests who were busy with the paint brush, taking part in the programme’s discussion on whether life drawings should be used to help people’s mental health in care homes.
Introducing the episode, Ben Shephard, said: ‘Just a little pick-me up when I came in – Sean [Fletcher] and Alex [Beresford] are in.’
The camera panned to newsreader Sean, who told viewers: ‘I’ve just got the giggles,’ while weatherman Alex quipped: ‘I hope it’s not cold in the studio this morning.’
When Ben asked if Adrian was mic’d up, Ranvir wondered: ‘We don’t know where we’d put the mic.’
Ben then joked: ‘They wear them on Love Island and it’s not like that.’
With everyone in high spirits over their very naked guest, former Strictly Come Dancing star Ranvir said: ‘I think it’s perked everyone up in the studio already and we’re not even drawing.’
However, it seems some were more amused than others as Sean was still giggling, with Ben remarking: ‘Sean’s beside himself.’
Struggling to contain his laughter, Sean said: ‘I wouldn’t say beside myself, I just can’t stop giggling.’
Ben turned his attention to the four guests – Michael, Sheila, Geraldine and Prumelia – who were concentrating on their muse for the life drawing.
‘Our artists have been going for a minute and they’re thoroughly involved,’ he said, but added jokingly: ‘I’m slightly worried though because Prumelia has an apron on, I wonder what sort of mess she’s going to get herself into. She’s obviously going to get fully.’
Adrian proved to be a good sport and managed to hold his position while the presenters were concerned about the studio temperatures.
He reassured them: ‘I am fine, it’s perfect modelling conditions.’
Ranvir then warned: ‘If you were to move you’d upset them,’ to which the muse quipped: ‘Hopefully they’ve got a good view back there.’
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
