Richard Osman reveals his secret 'new series' since leaving Pointless | The Sun

RICHARD Osman has revealed his secret 'new series' since leaving Pointless.

Back in April The Sun reported how Richard, 51, had decided to walk away from the show after 13 years.

While Richard is still hosting his BBC Two series House of Games, he is focusing a lot of his time on his writing.

The star has released three hit novels so far, The Thursday Murder Club, The Man Who Died Twice and this month's The Bullet That Missed.

The trilogy is all part of the Thursday Murder Club series, and Richard has now confirmed there will be three more books in the saga.

On top of that, he is also creating another series of books featuring a whole new group of characters.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday he wrote: "Great news! Books 4, 5 and 6 of #TheThursdayMurderClub series are on their way. And a brand-new series to come too!"

The Bullet That Missed was revealed last week and has smashed sales records, becoming the fastest-selling adult fiction hardback by a British author ever.

The fourth book in The Thursday Murder Club series will be released in September 2023 and is currently untitled.

Meanwhile, his new series will launch in 2024 and focuses on a father and daughter-in-law who run their own private investigation company.
