Roy suffers chest pains and Ryan goes missing in Corrie tonight

Roy Cropper (David Neilson) is to head to hospital in tonight’s visit to Coronation Street (Wednesday April 19), and it’s not the only drama on the wards.

Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) is forced to face up to the physical scarring left by the horrific acid attack he was subjected to.

With Carla (Alison King) there for support, Ryan tells the surgeon he’s ready to look at his injuries.

But as he stares at his face the surgeon breaks the news that he is not healing as they had hoped and he needs a skin graft.

Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) and Carla head into Ryan’s room only to discover him missing and his backpack gone.

He is later found traumatised and fearing no-one could ever love him, and Daisy tells Daniel (Rob Mallard) that she can’t bring herself to tell Ryan that Crystal wants nothing more to do with him.

Roy attends an appointment with Dr Gaddas and describes how he’s been suffering chest pains and breathlessness, and some tests are arranged for him.

When Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) finds out, she insists on accompanying him to the hospital, but what is going on?

Elsewhere on the Street, Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) is shocked to hear he stands to get around £200K compensation and but is devastated when he discovers that Eliza is being bullied at school because her mum is in prison.

Meanwhile, Faye Windass (Ellie Leach) and Jackson arrange to meet in town for a drink after his interview, with Faye lying to Craig (Colson Smith) that she is meeting a girlfriend.

The exes meet up in a hotel bar and when Beth (Lisa George) arrives with Marco in tow, Faye and Beth share horrified looks, each having been caught on a date with the wrong man.

Faye returns home feeling very guilty – will she come clean to Craig?
