S Club 7 star Jo O'Meara reveals she's welcomed a new family member after adopting from Romania | The Sun

S CLUB 7 star Jo O'Meara has adopted a homeless dog from Romania called Sisi.

The seven-year-old pooch travelled three days in a van across Europe to meet her new besotted owner.

And Big Brother star Jo, 43, looked so in love as she cuddled gorgeous Sisi and shared the moment they first met in a video on Instagram after the former street dog landed in the UK.

"Today's a very special day, we have just arrived in the Canterbury where we will be picking up a little rescue dog that has come all the way over from Romania as part of the K9Angels," Jo told the camera.

The singer went on: "Myself and Cindy have decided that we want to give this little girl a home, and we are about to meet her for the very first time. I expect she'll be really frightened."

Joe then showed off the van Sisi made the journey in and said it was full of other dogs being dropped off to their new owners.

She also held up Sisi's travel documents, which confirmed she was a pekingese breed and seven years old.

Jo, who is a dog mum to canines Wilson and Wilma, cuddled the doe-eyed pooch who immediately relaxed in her arms.

The pop star told fans about the dog rescue scheme that had led her to meeting Sisi, and captioned her video: "So today something amazing happened !

"The wonderful @victoriapearcewriter told myself and @cindylazarus about a little girl who needed rehoming , she was a street dog in Romania and then was rescued by a wonderful lady , but sadly things changed and she needed to be rehomed.
