Sally Nugent forced to apologise to BBC Breakfast viewers after live TV blunder | The Sun

SALLY Nugent was forced to apologise to BBC Breakfast viewers after a live TV blunder today.

Sally, 51, presented the show alongside Jon Kay, 53, bringing BBC Breakfast viewers the latest news and topics from around the country and further afield.

But a couple of hours into the show, Sally seemed to forget what day of the week it was.

She said: "Good morning it is Mon, Sorry, Tuesday the 14th of March."

She smiled halfway through as she realised her mistake but styled it out, ever the professional.

Meanwhile, Carol Kirkwood, was on hand to deliver her weather reports and she looked radiant in a red tea dress which featured little purple flowers and a dotty background.

Another tweeted: "You're looking stunning Carol! Love the dress!"

Meanwhile Sally, 51, opted for an ice blue blouse which she wore with a pair of leather look trousers.
