Bernice’s (Samantha Giles) sexploits see Bob (Tony Audenshaw) well and truly in the doghouse in Emmerdale when a devastated Wendy (Susan Cookson) delivers him a soaking.
Bernice has hired herself a fit harpist to do the honours at the B&B’s opening night, and she wastes no time at all in letting him know she fancies a game of hide the sausage. He’s only too happy to oblige, which turns out to be a fatal mistake.
The morning after their bedroom rodeo, Bernice wakes up to realise she has seriously overslept and before she can ask her bedfellow ‘was it good for you?’ she’s out of the door and heading to work.
Bob (Tony Audenshaw) is not impressed as she rocks up in a state having to apologise for being late, as she explains away her tardiness, but she’s left even more embarrassed when harpist Tim fails to show for the big event. Has he ghosted her? That’s the last thing her ego needs.
Bob goes off in search of answers and is left being the one to have to break the news to Bernice – her friend with benefits is in fact, dead.
Bernice is horrified. What on Earth happened between those sheets?!
As the disaster sinks in, things go from bad to worse when Wendy overhears a conversation and immediately believes it was Bob and Bernice who slept together. She’s devastated and Bob is mortified when he’s outrightly accused of doing the dirty on Wendy. As Bob pleads his innocence, Wendy responds by dumping a bucket of ice-cold water on him from an upstairs window.
Bob is well and truly out in the cold and all Bernice can do is muffle her giggles when he arrives at the B&B sopping wet.
The smile is quickly wiped from her face though when she learns Wendy thinks she and Bob had sex, but she puts it down to believing Wendy is going through the menopause. She comes up with a plan to get Wendy back on side, but will it work? And what happened to Tim?!
