Spoilers: Evil Ray takes revenge on Roy and Nick in Corrie

Ray Crosby (Mark Frost) has a fresh taste of victory in his battle to flatten Coronation Street for his new development plans tonight – and he takes great delight in dishing up defeat to a distraught Roy Cropper (David Neilson) who is fighting furiously for his community.

Also aware that Ray seems a step closer to being the victor, Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) approaches him in order to take him up on is recent offer – only for the sly businessman to laugh him out of the door.

With a gloating Ray pinning eviction notices across the properties of the Street, animosity against him is running high but is he about to be undone by his own confidence as he revels in the misery he is causing?

Discussing the fact that their eviction letters were delivered within seconds of the committee’s decision, Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) smells a rat. Kevin Webster (Michael le Vell) is consequently disgusted with his sister Debbie (Sue Devaney) for her role in what has happened.

Nick tells Ray that he has changed his mind and would like to accept his offer to relocate the business, but Ray laughs in his face and declares he’s too late.

Meanwhile, Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) rallies the troops and tells the residents that the only way to beat Ray is if they all pull together – this is far from over!

Later, Ray meets up with the Chairperson of the planning committee and buys her a drink.

But what corrupt methods is he using now to get his own way – and was the decision of the hearing biased?
