Zara McDermott reveals ‘sad day’ at Strictly
Strictly Come Dancing star Zara McDermott has been dealt a huge blow ahead of Saturday’s live show.
The Love Island star has survived the dreaded dance-off twice now, but she is currently a bookies’ favourite to leave the show.
According to Ladbrokes, the 26-year-old is in danger of being eliminated from the BBC competition with odds of 1/2, after she found herself in the bottom two last week.
Actor Adam Thomas’ odds are also concerning but remain significantly bigger than Zara’s at 5/1.
Meanwhile, EastEnders star Bobby Brazier continues to enjoy his status as Strictly favourite at 2/1, with Casualty’s Nigel Harman his nearest rival at 5/2.

Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “Zara McDermott will be in for a fright when she sees her odds for the Strictly axe this week.
“Despite her gruelling efforts to stay in the competition, we think Halloween week will be her last on the show.”
Last week, Zara and Graziano Di Prima were saved by all four judges following a dance-off with Eddie Kadi and Karen Hauer.
Making his decision on who to save, Craig Revel Horwood announced: “For me, the quality of dance in this couple was far superior, and the couple I would like to save is Zara and Graziano.”

Motsi Mabuse went on to say: “For me, it was actually really close, the quality was very, very close.
“It came down to details and I would love to save Zara and Graziano.”
Former professional Anton Du Beke remarked: “Well, I thought that was an excellent dance-off, I thought both couples danced very, very well.
“But for me, with a slightly cleaner technique, I’d like to save Zara and Graziano.”

Although the three votes meant the couple had been saved, when asked about her own thoughts, head judge Shirley Ballas said she agreed with the decision.
Speaking to presenter Tess Daly about his time on the show, Eddie had nothing but praise as he said: “I’ve really enjoyed this, it’s something I’ve always wanted to do – I love dancing.
“This has been the highest moment of my career – it’s the happiest I’ve ever been, but not just for me – my family – my little baby girl is at home doing the Men in Black dance.
“More importantly, this little African boy, I just wanted my culture to shine. Everything I stand for, when it comes to my comedy when it comes to my presenting, is based on my culture, is based on my upbringing and I wanted that to shine most importantly.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 6.40pm on BBC One.
