Strictly ‘curse’ won’t hit Zara McDermott despite cheating past, says boyfriend

The so-called Strictly Come Dancing "curse" won't be an issue for Zara McDermott – her boyfriend Sam Thompson has said – despite her cheating past.

Zara became the first ever Love Island star to sign up for the BBC dancing show, but she won't be using it for any romance, according to Sam.

Bombshell beauty Zara cheated on her Made In Chelsea star boyfriend early on in their romance, while she was on X Factor: Celebrity, but they got back together and are stronger than ever now.

And it looks set to stay that way, Sam has said, despite the infamous history of celebs hooking up with their Strictly pro partners.

"She was 22… so f***ing young," Sam told The Mirror. "You know when you look at them and you go, 'She ain't going to do that again?' I could see in her face.

"You can just tell when someone has a beautiful heart and a beautiful soul and just f***ed up."

Sam has confessed to cheating on girlfriends in the past, however has stayed faithful to BBC darling Zara.
