Strictly: Bobby and Dianne announced in the dance-off
Strictly Come Dancing fans were up in arms tonight as EastEnders star Bobby Brazier found himself in the dreaded dance-off.
He and his pro partner Dianne Buswell had performed a Jive to Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go by Wham! on Saturday night.
The judges were impressed by the routine and awarded them 35 points leaving them joint third on the leaderboard alongside former tennis pro Annabel Croft.
However, that wasn’t enough to save the couple after the public vote was counted and they found themselves in the bottom two alongside Angela Rippon and her partner Kai Widdrington.
Both couples had to take to the floor again to try and impress the judges and to get through to next week’s competition.

It appeared that the judges agreed with the viewers as after both couples had danced again they chose to save Bobby and Dianne.
Commenting on his decision Craig Revel Horwood said: “Well, there’s a standout performance for me that I can’t ignore and the couple that I would like to save are Bobby and Dianne.”
Motsi Mabuse said: “I felt that both couples danced so beautifully. Really one of the most beautiful dance offs we have had. I am going to save Bobby and Dianne.”
Announcing his decision Anton du Beke explained: “Well again, I thought it was a marvellous dance off. Both couples danced very, very well. I thought Bobby and Dianne danced excellently again.
“I thought that Angela and Kai’s dance was beautiful and Angela even thanked one of the other dancers for lifting her and putting her down so gracefully which I thought was absolutely beautiful. For me the couple I would like to save are Bobby and Dianne.”
With three votes to Bobby and Dianne, it meant they had won the majority vote and would be staying in the competition regardless, however Head Judge Shirley Ballas confirmed that she would also have saved them giving them a clean sweep.
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One next Saturday at 7.30pm.
