Supernanny: Jo Frost gives tips for dealing with tantrums
Supernanny first appeared on screens in 2004, as viewers watched professional nanny Jo Frost help a family each week who were struggling to discipline their children or teenagers.
The Channel 4 show was a big hit with viewers, with it pulling in six million viewers at the height of its success. The show’s format was ultimately introduced in over 40 countries across the world, with Jo even fronting the US version – Supernanny USA – on ABC, which ran from 2005 to 2011.
And many will remember the Supernanny’s iconic glasses, pulled-back dark brunette hair and structured blazer. But Jo Frost looks completely unrecognisable in a new photograph that she has shared.

Taking to her Instagram, Jo shared a snapshot of herself looking much more au natural. Her hair looked considerably lighter than it did all those years ago and was worn down instead of up in a tight bun.
The television personality also went without her trademark glasses and makeup to debut a much more stripped back look. From the photo, it looked as though the 53-year-old had soaked up the last of the summer sun, possibly after a dip in the pool.
Jo captioned the photo: “Hi everyone. Just wanted to send you some love. drop me a message down below, it would be really nice to hear from you and do let me know what country you are in. Xxx Jo.”
