The Blacklist: Dr. Laken Perillos makes her return
WARNING: This article contains spoilers from The Blacklist.
The Blacklist returned for another episode at the weekend on NBC, but it didn’t focus on the Task Force or Raymond Reddington (played by James Spader).
In fact, it mostly revolved around Dembe, his mysterious past and the love of his life getting back in touch.
Aïssa, is the mother of Dembe’s daughter Isabella who he first met in Marseilles back in 1992 and while they were madly in love, his job was far too dangerous for their romance to continue.
She only got back in touch with him after discovering that her fiancé Michael Albani (Cyrus Farmer) was a suspected terrorist and was arrested by the military.
This may have been an interesting insight into Dembe’s love life, but some fans were left disappointed by season 10’s 12th episode.

As there are just 10 episodes left to watch before The Blacklist ends for good, some criticised the instalment, labelling it as a “filler”.
@deray tweeted: “Now, I love #TheBlacklist but they are not tying up any loose ends in this last season.
“We deserve a little bit of closure and it doesn’t look like we’re going to get it. But we still love Raymond.”
@jennifernoel_ agreed: “It’s kind of infuriating. They should have done this last season as a backstory of how Raymond created his identity & got to where he is today.”
@xroz004 continued: “#TheBlacklist so boring these days. 12th episode this season and all of those have been nothing but fillers.”
While @davidaboren28 stated: “This show has really has had good standalone episodes this season.
“Like good television. But the connectivity of this show. What it’s built on.
“The Blacklisters meaning something. Is completely gone. And therefore the heart beat of the show is gone. #TheBlacklist”
There are just 10 more episodes left to air, including the grand final of The Blacklist.
Episode 13, which comes out on Sunday, May 21, will be entitled “The Sicilian Error of Color.”
Its description reads: “Siya accompanies the ever-enigmatic Red on a series of unusual tasks, only to uncover more details about Meera’s past.
“As they work together, the tension between Red and Siya thickens, leaving viewers eager for more.”
The Blacklist continues every Sunday on NBC.
