THE Bodyguard actress Melody Thornton has broken her silence after riots broke out as she performed on stage last night.
Police were called to Manchester's Palace Theatre after audience members were accused of trying to "sing over the cast".
The disruption sparked upset in the crowd, leading to officers being called.
Pictures outside Palace Theatre show two police cars and a van parked up as six officers entered the theatre.
Two people were removed from the venue, Greater Manchester Police said.
A decision about further action will be made once evidence has been reviewed, the force added.
Lead actress Melody said she fought to continue the show, but was forced to finish early in a video on Instagram after leaving the venue.
She wrote: "I wanted to send a really special message to the people in Manchester who came to the show tonight.
"Thank you so much. I respect that you paid your money and I'm so grateful to everyone who respects the people on stage who want to give you a beautiful show.
"For everything that happened tonight, I can't say.. I don't have all the details. I'm just very very sorry we couldn't finish the show.
