The Capture viewers all have the same complaint as latest episode leaves them 'unable to breathe' | The Sun

THE CAPTURE viewers were left speechless after a fan-favourite was murdered in Sunday's episode.

BBC’s hit thrilling crime-drama, The Capture, returned to screens on Sunday for the latest episode of season two – and viewers were left on the edge of their seats as one of the characters was killed.

The Capture is about the life of detective Rachel Carey, as she works on a secret case that involves digital intelligence and deepfake technology.

Season two came in strong as invisible assassins continued to hijack cameras and commit crimes – hiding their identities.

During the episode viewers witnessed a Chinese national get brutally murdered in his hotel, but no one knew who had done it, as the CCTV didn't show anyone in sight.

The only person who witnessed the crime, DS Patrick Flynn, was shot and sent to hospital while under 24-hour investigation.

Things quickly got worse in Sunday night's episode, when DI Flynn was killed in hospital as the criminal tried to silence him.

Fans watched in shock-horror as the officer died, even though he was the only one who could identify the culprit.
