The Chase viewers were left open-mouthed on during the latest episode of the ITV game show after a 73-year-old player revealed her surprisingly sexy profession.
Contestant Dany from Spalding was introducing herself to viewers at home during Tuesday's (August 29) show alongside players Lesley, Ali and Richard when she revealed she was a belly dancing instructor.
Sporting modest attire and having revealed her age, fans at home were stunned at the revelation.
“Hi ,I'm Dany ,I'm 73 ,im a belly dance instructor ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????………….WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT? #THECHASE WILL SOMEBODY WAKE ME UP FROM THIS NIGHTMARE PLEASE !” gasped one fan.
Another griped: “A belly dance teacher?? I have many questions.”
A third chimed in: “Sorry she does what now???” while a fourth penned: “A belly dance teacher, you say? Wait…what?”
Bradley asked if she taught anywhere exotic such an Istanbul as she said no, just Spalding, which drew a laugh from the studio.
She went on to have a belly flop performance only scoring £2k in her cash builder round.
She further disappointed fans when she went for the low offer of £1k against chaser Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis.
She managed to pull through alongside her entire team, scoring a tidy £25k total in their prize pot.
The 62-year-old presenter returned to front brand new episodes of the popular game show this week.
ITV has been broadcasting repeats over the past few months and fans following the show on Twitter were thrilled by the format change.
On fan said: "So happy #TheChase is back, brand new episodes too!"
Another commented: "About time we had new episodes of #thechase"
