THE Chase fans were all shocked by The Vixen’s performance when three of the four contestants breezed through their head-to-heads and into the final chase.
In Monday night’s episode, host Bradley Walsh welcomed contestants Darren, David, Mayanka and Kate to ITV the quiz show.
The chase was over quickly for David, but together Darren, Mayanka and Kate reached the final chase with £60,000 between them.
They faced Jenny Ryan, aka The Vixen, who started off very confidently and wasn’t worried about facing Darren, but he sailed through the head-to-head, taking home £5,000.
Second chair David was eliminated early, but the third contestant, law graduate Mayanka, also sailed through even though she guessed most of her answers. She added another £5,000 to the total.
“I think I could have caught her, so I’m a bit annoyed,” The Vixen admitted after facing Mayanka.
Fans could tell the chaser was breaking a sweat.
One said: “The Vixen seemed to actually be getting f***in’ annoyed #TheChase.”

She then faced the fourth contestant, Kate, who went for the high offer of £50,000 in her head-to-head round. Using a mixture of knowledge and guesses, she made her way to the final, too.
Excited by the prospect of £20,000 apiece, the trio eagerly discussed their plans for the money.
Darren wanted to use his share of the cash to buy a campervan.
Harry Potter fan Mayanka wanted to go travelling and tick off a bucket list trip to Orlando’s Universal theme park.

Meanwhile, pottery-enthusiast Kate wanted to spend the cash on her own kiln.
However, their hopes were all dashed in the final chase.
The trio ended up with a score of 16, but even with four pushbacks, it wasn’t enough to beat The Vixen.
She won with eight seconds remaining.
“Oh my, Good one Vixen #TheChase,” one viewer praised her.
It was a close race, and The Vixen admitted that the team had challenged her.
