VIEWERS of The Confessions of Frannie Langton viewers broke down in tears at the series finale.
The ITV drama was based on the acclaimed novel of the same name which was written by Sara Collins.
Star names such as Blue Story actress Karla-Simone Spence, Kingsman actress Sophie Cookson star in the period mini-series.
Stephen Campbell Moore who is best known for roles in, Johnny English Reborn, Goodbye Christopher Robin and Downton Abbey was also involved in the project.
The show tells the story of a housemaid from Jamaica who is fighting to tell her own story.
Even though all four episodes are available to watch on-demand on ITVX, the finale only aired on ITV1 on Thursday (24 August).

However, viewers still took to social media in their droves to lavish praise on the drama programme.
One fan wrote: "Confessions of Frannie Langton made me cry."
A second said: "Loved the tv series of the Confessions of Frannie Langton… I read the book, but remembered very little of it."
"Loved every moment of The Confessions of Frannie Langton," noted a third.
