Nine months later, both Pedro and Chantel are ready to move on from one another. As their divorce inches closer to the finish line, accusations and old resentments make any kind of agreement no easy feat. Decisions such as selling the house, and who gets what possession, are almost impossible between the two. While both believe they are on the right side of this divorce, each family is intensely feuding as they fight to defend their own.

The final season of The Family Chantel will continue to showcase the cultural clashes and language barriers to secrets revealed with one final encounter between the families that viewers had been hoping for since last season.

Pedro and Chantel’s romance was documented in Season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé. The couple would continue showcasing their life on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? as they continued to work on their marriage despite their respective families’ opposition. In 2019, their standalone spinoff titled The Family Chantel premiered giving more insight into their lives.
