The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart is growing more intense with every episode, so who is Charlie?
In the latest episode of the Amazon Prime Video series, another secret comes out which results in Twig (played by Leah Purcell) leaving June (Sigourney Weaver), much to her dismay.

Who is Charlie in The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart?
By the end of episode three, it was suspected that June had asked John (Alexander England) and Sally Morgan (Asher Keddie) to look after Alice’s brother Charlie which proved to be the case.
June was still in touch with them, receiving health updates throughout the years as he had been born prematurely and may have been affected by the fire.

It is thought June had been financially helping the couple during this time and finally, after 14 years, Charlie had been declared healthy by the doctors so he could live a normal life.
He was thrilled to tell June this but she still didn’t want to speak to him, leaving Charlie heartbroken.
When June later collapses and is taken to hospital, Twig takes a call on her phone from Sally and finds out the truth about Charlie.
She then rushes home and finds that he had been sending letters for years to Alice as he wanted to have a relationship with his sister, but June had kept this from her.

Twig is furious at her June who tries to explain that she didn’t want Alice to grow up around men who could have turned out like her violent father.
However, Twig does not think this is an excuse and believes she had no right to separate the siblings.
In a fit of rage against her partner, Twig chops down the tree that was planted to commemorate Charlie when it was thought he was dead.
She then decided she could no longer be with June after years of deceit and left the farm.
With Twig now out of the picture, is June going to come clean about Charlie to Alice (Alycia Debnam-Carey)?
And if she does discover the truth about her brother, how will she react?
There isn’t too much longer to wait now as episode five comes out on Friday, August 18.
