Alison Hammond revealed on today's instalment of This Morning that she once named her "miracle" pet goldfish after Prince George – and that it came to life after dying two weeks prior.
Discussing the Prince's ninth birthday, Alison told viewers at home that she once named a fish after the future King.
"I called my goldfish after him, because he was, I acquired him at the same time," she explained.
Dermot had knowledge of the pet and said: "He was sticking around for a long time that goldfish."

"I couldn't believe it," she replied.
Adding: "It was actually, he was caught by a cat, brought into a house of The Speakmans, and I was visiting on that day and they literally fobbed off their fish to me.
"And it was literally dying. Anyway, I put some salts in it and it came back alive within two weeks and lasted for about five years."
This came after Alison snapped at her co-host Dermot when the pair high-fived in celebration on their final show before their summer break.
She went on to brand him as being "aggressive" when the pair did a high-five to mark their final Friday show before heading off on their summer holidays.
Welcoming viewers to Friday's show on July 22, Alison said: "Welcome to your Friday's This Morning," in a cheery and upbeat voice.
She then said: "It's our last one," hinting that this is their final show before the summer, as the pair high-fived.
Alison then added: "God, you're very aggressive sometimes, [sic], could you be a bit softer?"
Dermot then said he was "excited" before they high-fived again – a little more softly.
"That's better, much better," Alison then said before Dermot segued into the next part of the show.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITVHub
