This Morning guest Gyles Brandreth took a cheeky swipe at Phillip Schofield about Botox.

The broadcaster, 74, joined Phil and Holly Willoughby in the ITV studio today (June 27) to discuss the top headlines of the day alongside The Guardian columnist Sonia Sodha.

Despite discussing NHS shortages causing problems within dentistry, things soon turned playful when Gyles mentioned that his dentist now offers Botox.

"The nature of dentistry has changed because people now go to the dentist a lot for cosmetic reasons. My local dentist which is also an NHS dentist, they offer you Botox if you want it as well," Gyles chimed.

Phil, 60, cheekily interrupted: "Have you had it?"

The former politician swiped back: "Have I had it? If I had I'd be looking like you instead of like me."

The studio erupted with laughter as Phil couldn't believe what the 74-year-old was accusing him of.

"I hazen to say I have never done that in my life!," the Dancing on Ice presenter exclaimed before adding: "I've thought about it!"

Gyles chimed: "I'm in a playful mood today."

Also in discussion was Prince Charles after he received £3 million cash by the former prime minster of Qatar.

Sonia, 41, stated the debate is a matter of perception but believes it raises "worrying questions," about the future king.

"It's a matter of perception isn't it but it does raise a few worrying questions about our future monarch because this isn't the first time he's found himself in hot water over this," the writer quipped.

She added: "Last year there was a very high profile cash for honours scandal and one of his very senior aids had to resign."

She went on to say that she recognises there have been assurances that everything has been legal but believes it doesn't look good.

"As you say Phillip, no suggestion of anything unlawful but this is the former Prime Minister of Qatar.

"There are all sorts of questions about their funding of state sanctioned terrorism in the middle east so it just doesn't look good for our future monarch – heir to the throne to be accepting a suitcase full of millions of pounds."
