Tipping Point viewers were left asking if a player was “ok” after she made a huge blunder during her introduction on the show.
As three new contestants took their turn introducing themselves to viewers at home, which typically involves revealing their name, job and where they’re from, it was player Joanne that had viewers scratching their heads.
After telling viewers her name and job, she appeared to totally forget where she was from.
She said: “I’m from… erm, Rotherham,” with a hefty pause of several seconds before finally recalling where she lived.
Fans were perplexed by the epic blunder, with some concerned she wasn’t off to a good start.
“Are you ok Joanna? Great start!” said one fan.
“Did she really just forget where she is from? Good start,” echoed a second.
“Joanna definitely forgot where she was from then. Favourite to win,” penned a third, while a fourth added: “Bloody Hell, *she's* in trouble if she can't even remember where she's from. The ba**ards wouldn't even give her a second take.”
A fifth added: “I think Joanna has a built in satellite delay.”
