Towie star Elma Pazar reveals day job away from show with extremely long working hours | The Sun

TOWIE star Elma Pazar is putting in some hard graft away from the beloved reality show as she continues to work hard on her own business.

The former Love Islander, 29, has been continuing to grow her eyelash extension business, which launched before she appeared in the villa back in 2019.

She later started doing the Towie girls' lashes and now she's a fully-fledged member of the reality show squad.

But let's not get it mixed up, television work is her side hustle, with her business taking up a hefty amount of time in her day.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, Elma explained: "I'm a lash technician so I literally do that all day every day. I don’t even look at my phone because my job is so hands on and I leave my phone to the side and don’t even look for hours and then I do and so much is happening.

"That’s my bread and butter. I’ve recently brought out my own brand too and I sell products there, so I focus on that and I live and breathe that basically."

"I’ve now reduced my working hours, it was through a booking system but I’ve now reduced it because a lot of my clients work in the city, so by the time they get back from London after a 9-5, it’ll be 6/630 and my door is open until like half 11 at night.

"I was sitting there thinking 'why am I working until this time?' So I’ve had to reduce it now and I think the latest appointment you can book is around 9pm which is still quite late because I’ll finish by 10pm which is still quite late.

"I’ve done it for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday so it’s not every night. I think for me, when I wanted being a lash technician to work I wanted it to be around the hours that suited me, and a lot of the time I don’t do weekend appointments because I’ve done them all in the week so it kind of works better for me in that sense."

Elma's business is clearly her baby, but she felt the pinch of the Covid pandemic when she was forced to shut up shop for the best part of a year.

In January 2021 she begged fans for money after being unable to claim furlough and couldn't work on any clients.

She then joined Towie in 2022, with her first scenes airing in August as the show headed to the Dominican Republic.

TOWIE airs on ITVBe and is available on ITV Player.
