Virgin River: Season 5 Part 1 trailer

Virgin River season five is on its way and fans are eager to know how many episodes there will be to look forward to.
The beloved drama, based on the novel series by Robyn Carr, is making a comeback for a fifth outing, picking up from where the show left off in July 2022.
Here’s everything Express.co.uk knows about the upcoming series of Virgin River.
How many episodes are in Virgin River season 5?
Virgin River season five is going to consist of 12 episodes in total, much like its predecessor.
Before series four came out, the rest of the seasons had just 10 instalments each so the show has been extended.

The first 10 episodes of Virgin River season five are going to be dropped in one go on Thursday, September 7, on Netflix.
But subscribers are going to have to wait quite some time until the final two are released.
Virgin River is being split into two parts for the first time as the remaining episodes are going to be festive-themed.
Episodes 11 and 12 are going to be out on Thursday, November 30, completing season five.

It hasn’t yet been made clear what these Christmas episodes are going to be about.
However, it is known that author Carr’s original book series features several Christmas special novels.
Some of these include Under the Christmas Tree, Bring Me Home For Christmas, A Virgin River Christmas and My Kind of Christmas.
But a synopsis has come out in regards to what fans can expect from the rest of the season.
Its description reads: “Issues of motherhood push Mel to make a big decision about her future at the clinic while her pregnancy unexpectedly sparks an emotional connection to her past.
“To further prove himself to Mel, Jack squares off with some long-overdue confrontations – with his own demons and, of course, Charmaine.
“And as Doc and Hope’s respective impairments throw their identities into question, the doctor and the mayor must find solace in their community, in their young new family, and in each other.”
Virgin River season five premieres on Thursday, September 7, on Netflix.
