THE cobbles have welcomed plenty of faces over the decades and it's easy to lose track of some of them.
For three years, Erica Holroyd lived through all the Coronation Street drama. But what exactly happened to her?
What happened to Erica Holroyd in Corrie?
Erica was portrayed by soap star Claire King from 2014 to 2017.
She first rocked up the cobbles in December, 2014, to visit her mother and catch up with her friend Liz McDonald (played by soap legend Beverley Callard).
The pair had a long history together as Erica was employed by Liz when she ran a bar in Spain and, after walking out on a violent partner in just the clothes she stood in, she worked hard for wages until she got back on her feet.
Liz and Erica had had a habit of picking up the pieces for each other, prompting the former – who was the Rovers landlady at the time, to allow her friend to stay at the pub for the duration of her visit.

Venturing into Just Nick's before heading off to Preston to see her mother, Erica grew frustratd at the length of time she had to wait to be served.
This led her to help herself to a glass of wine and she left the money on the bar.
But she was soon caught by Gail Platt (Helen Worth) who then ordered her son, and the bistro's owner, Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) to throw her out.
Nick refused and, as a matter of principle, Gail walked out leaving a guilty Erica to take over her duties for the evening.

The pair soon struck up a romance, spending most of their time together, and the bistro's supervisor Steph Britton (Tisha Merry) had to hold the fort together on her own.
Erica soon suggested that Nick ask his former wife Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) to return to work to help out.
While she was ready to return to Spain, Erica received news of her mother when her brother informed her that she had suffered a fall and wouldn't be back on her feet for weeks.
She hastily cancelled her flight and aimed to go to Preston to look after her.
At this point, she mistakenly believed Nick wanted to take their relationship to a more serious level – and he was convinced this was also her intention.
She later found out from Leanne she had been wrong and after jokingly admitting her deep feelings for Nick, they parted as good friends.
But this wouldn't be the last time Nick would hear from Erica.
A year after her debut, Erica made another brief visit to Preston and Weatherfield, breaking the news to Nick that she was seven weeks pregnant.
While she initially didn't know whether or not to keep her baby, Erica eventually decided to go ahead with the pregnancy and Nick agreed to contribute financially.
The pair continued to remain friends although Gail didn't approve of their unusual arrangement.
Nick warmed up to the idea of becoming a father and insisted on forming a couple with Erica, which agreed to.
But in a tragic twist of fate, Erica lost the baby and planned to called it quits with Nick as she felt he was only with her for the sake of the unborn child.
Nick insisted he wanted to remain together but they went their separate ways when it was clear he was truly in love with Carla Connor (Alison King).
Erica later became involved with shop owner Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) although his children didn't approve of her and often pulled pranks on her.
She grew bored of her life and, craving excitement, found a kindred spirit in the form of Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell).
Both characters shared a kiss and Erica invited the mechanic to follow her at a bar which would have led them to spending a steamy night together.
Overwhelmed with guilt, Kevin came clean to his then-girlfriend Anna Windass (Debbie Rush) who forgave him.
Although it wasn't confirmed to her, Anna deduced the recipient of the kiss was Erica after overhearing a conversation during which she said she'd been stood up at a bar by a "friend."
She warned Erica away from Kevin but kept everything a secret from Dev.
It wasn't until Erica was employed at Nick's Bistro that Mary Taylor (Patti Clare) found out about her "affair" with Kevin and she quickly told Dev what had happened.
Erica desperately tried to win Dev back but vowed to Mary she'd throw her out on to the streets as soon as she did so, having found out she had been the one to spill the beans.
She organised a grand romantic gesture in the Rovers to get Dev back but when it seemed like she was succeeding, Gina Seddon (Connie Hyde) interrupted, revealing Mary would become homeless if Dev accepted Erica back.
This was confirmed by Mary and Dev vehemently accused Erica of being desperate.
Fully aware she had blown all of her chances at reconciling with Dev and with the residents of the Street looking down on her, Erica made the decision to head back to Spain without telling Liz.
Erica had a low-key exit.
She was last seen climbing into a taxi for Manchester Airport as she told Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) to let Liz know she was leaving Coronation Street.

What TV shows has Claire King been in other than Coronation Street?
Claire King is a big name in soapland and has appeared in a variety of shows on the box.
A successful actress on the small screen, the Bradford star began her career with a small role in the black comedy film Eat the Rich in 1987.
After a brief appearance in TV drama Wish Me Luck and the 1989 film Cold Light of Day, Claire had her breakthrough role.
Before her path ever led her to the cobbles, Claire was thrown into her first soapland stint as she was chosen to portray Kim Tate in Emmerdale for the first time in 1989.
Claire remained in the eponymous ITV village for a decade before moving on to other projects and her performance in Emmerdale seems to have made her a household name in the UK.
The work started to pile up for the 61-year-old as she became a series regular in Bad Girls as Karen Betts, before appearing in Doctors, The Courtroom, Holby City, The Afternoon Play, Hollyoaks, The Royal and even Casualty, among many other programs.
Her credits also include a string of appearances as herself in breakfast show This Morning and Loose Women, where she was once a guest panellist.
Claire has also taken part in a handful of TV competitions in the likes of Strictly Come Dancing, where she came sixth, All Star Family Fortunes, Safari School and The Pyramid Game.
She was also a contestant in Pointless and the fourteenth series of Celebrity Big Brother.
Following her stay in Weatherfield, Claire headed back to Yorkshire by reprising the role of Emmerdale's Kim Tate in 2018 on a permanent basis.
She has been gracing our screens ever since, getting involved in heaps of drama – and dealing with the consequences.
In late 2022, Claire admitted that filming Emmerdale's storm scenes, aired for the show's 50th anniversary, left her fighting illness.
