LARRY Lamb is beloved my fans from both sides of the pond, thanks to his role as the patriarch in Gavin & Stacey.

How old is Larry Lamb?
Larry Lamb was born on October 1, 1947, in Edmonton, North London, to Jessie and Ronald Lamb – the eldest of four children.
He was educated at Edmonton County School and then went to work in the oil industry in Libya and Canada.
Larry also attended the St Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
This developed his amateur interest in acting to a professional level, and he performed at Canada's Stratford Festival.

His first big break came in 1981 when he played Chief Engineer in BBC's North Sea ferry-based soap Triangle.
He then went to play roles in TV dramas such as The Professionals, Minder, Lovejoy, A Touch of Frost, Taggart, Casualty and The Bill.

Larry has been been married twice during his life, but as of October 2022, his relationship status is unknown.
In 2018, it was reported that he was in a relationship Marie Hugo a French artist who he started dating following his stint in the Celebrity Jungle.

Meanwhile, Larry married his first wife Anita Wisebey in London when he was just 21 following a whirlwind romance.
The marriage crumbled though and Larry moved abroad and while in Germany working as a car salesman, he met and married American nurse Jacquie Parris but they were soon divorced.
In 1975 he dated Lady Colin Campbell, who took part in the I'm A Celeb in 2015, and their romance lasted about six months.
In 1979 Larry married Irish singer Linda Martin, but they divorced in 1996.
The same year, Larry met actress Clare Burt, who is best known for her appearances on The Bill – they dated for 20 years before splitting up in 2016.
How many children does Larry Lamb have?
Larry has four children, the eldest, Vanessa was born in 1969 but he has only met her once, and that was when she was seven months old.
He told The Sun that he thinks about her a lot but "me and her mum broke up and then she was adopted by her mum’s new husband, so I never had anything to do with her," something which he said he regrets.
He has son, George Lamb, a TV and radio presenter, from his marriage to Linda, who was born in 1979.
He also has two daughters from his relationship with Clare, Eloise, an actress, was born in 1999, and Eva Mathilde was born in 2003.
What TV shows has Larry Lamb starred in?
Larry became a household name when he starred as Mick Shipman in the popular sitcom Gavin & Stacey from 2007 to 2010, and then again in 2019.
During that time, he joined the cast of EastEnders as Ronnie and Roxy's father Archie Mitchell from 2008 to April 2009 but returned that summer before being killed off in the Christmas episodes that year.
He then joined the cast of the BBC comedy-drama New Tricks, taking over from Dennis Waterman.
Larry also starred alongside Phil Collins and Julie Walters in the 1988 film Buster as the ring-leader train robber Bruce Reynolds.
In 2016, he took part in ITV's reality TV show I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here and was the sixth contestant to be voted out.
In 2018 he appeared on Britain by Bike with Larry & George Lamb on Channel 5.
In 2022 Larry thrilled fans when he reunited with Gavin & Stacey co-star Alison Steadman for ITV's DNA Journey.
