LOVE Island fans are enjoying the reality show's summer edition, with more twists and high drama than ever before.
The 2023 Islanders are all hoping to find romance in the famous villa, which includes bombshell Sammy Root.
Who is Sammy Root?
Sammy Root is a 22-year-old project manager from Kent.
But he is swapping the office for life as a reality star on Love Island 2023.
Speaking to ITV about deciding to go on the show, he said: "I’ve always got girls on my mind, so what better way to find a nice girl than in the Love Island Villa!
"I’ll be the energy in the villa, lots of guys have pretty faces and nice bodies, which I have too, but I’ve also got the bubbly personality, I’m a bit of a firework.

"I stand out from everyone else purely on appearance. Most attractive people have the personality of a sponge, but I’m not lacking in that department either."
Who is Sammy Root looking for in a partner?
Speaking about his ideal partner, Sammy said: "She’s gotta have a nice bum, an amazing personality and be family orientated."
Asked if he falls in love quickly, he said: If it’s the right girl, then yes. My ex is the only girl I’ve ever been in love with."
But when it comes to what gives him the "ick", Sammy revealed: "It’s niche, but wide feet – there’s something about wide feet that I can’t deal with. Girls that are too into star signs is another ick."

When is Love Island on TV?
Love Island airs Sundays to Fridays on ITV2 at 9pm.
Each episode lasts around an hour, and can also be watched on ITVX.
There is a change up on Saturday nights, as a highlights show airs instead, and shows unseen bits from the villa.
