Who is Lydia Karakyriakou?
Lydia Karakyriakou is a retail customer assistant from Glasgow.
The 22-year-old is swapping her usual job for the Love Island villa.
She has said that when looking for love, she is looking for someone to "bounce off".
Lydia said: "I’m looking for someone to bounce off and someone who is able to support and care for me. Humour is a big thing, too so I’m looking for someone who’s not too serious and can have a laugh."

It seems the Casa Amor bombshell has already got an eye on one boy in particular.
She said: "Casey, I love his personality. After seeing the way he spoke with Lana about their situation, I thought he was really upfront. I respect that he didn’t beat around the bush and was honest about the way he felt."
