PAUL Cattermole shot into the spotlight in the late nineties as a member of the hit pop group S Club 7.

But after shunning fame for many years in favour of a quieter life, some fans may wonder what the singer is up to now.

Where is Paul Cattermole now?

As of January 2023 Paul has reunited with his S Club 7 bandmates.

After nearly two decades he has got back with Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O’Meara, Jon Lee, Rachel Stevens and Tina Barrett for a reunion arena tour.

Together S Club 7 said: "It feels amazing to announce that we're reuniting and performing together again.

Paul previously reemerged into the spotlight back in 2019 when he appeared on First Dates Hotel.

At the time, he revealed to the camera he "hadn't had a lot of luck with women" over the years, but was hoping to meet someone special who had a mutual interest in music and performing.

Who is Paul Cattermole?

Paul was born in St Albans, Hertfordshire, on March 7, 1977.

He's a singer and actor best known for S Club 7.

Before joining the hit pop group, Paul was a member of the National Youth Music Theatre and appeared in Pendragon (1994).

He then studied theatre and acting at the Mountview Drama School.

When did Paul join S Club 7?

Paul shot to fame as a member of S Club 7 in 1999 after he was spotted by music mogul Simon Fuller's 19 Entertainment and asked to audition.

But in 2002, he quit the group because he wanted to go back to his "rock roots".

Paul famously sold his S Club 7 Brit Award on Ebay.

He also dated his S Club 7 bandmate Hannah Spearritt, whom he met when they were members of the National Youth Music Theatre in 1994.

They started dating in 2001, but kept their romance a secret for six months.

They split in 2006, but got back together in 2015 following S Club 7's reunion in 2014.

However, they again split within months.
