Why aren't Holly and Phil on This Morning? | The Sun

HOLLY Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are best known for being the faces of This Morning.

The ITV hosts usually host show every Monday to Thursday, but they are currently off air – and here's why.

Why aren't Holly and Phil on This Morning today?

Viewers tuning in to This Morning this week (January 13, 2023) will have noticed that Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are missing from the sofa.

According to ITV, the pair are taking a week off for their half-term break.

The dates for half-term vary across the country with some schools starting on Monday, February 13, 2023.

In England and Wales, most schools will be on half-term from 13-17 February.

Most schools in Scotland will also be off at the same time.

However, some schools in the UK will have their half-term starting from Monday, 20 February, 2023.

Northern Ireland has a shorter break, with pupils just getting the 16 and 17 February off.

Who is standing in for Holly and Phil?

Holly and Phil have been replaced by This Morning hosts Dermot O’Leary and Josie Gibson.

The stand-in presenters will host the show all week from today (February 13, 2023).

The pair are no stranger to hosting This Morning, with Dermot regularly presenting the Friday programme with Alison Hammond.

Meanwhile, Josie tends to have a regular spot on the show, presenting competitions and special segments.

She also often replaces the regular hosts by presenting the show when they're having time off.

Other ITV shows such as Lorraine and Good Morning Britain also have different hosts for the half-term week while the regular presenters have some time off.

Christine Lampard is stepping in for Lorraine while Robert Rinder and Ranvir Singh are presenting GMB.
