Will & Grace star Eric McCormack's wife has reportedly filed for divorce after 26 years of marriage.
Janet Holden, a Hollywood director, is said to be ending her relationship with the 60 year old actor, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split according to TMZ.
Janet has 'asked for spousal support and wants to prevent the court from awarding any to Eric'.
OK! has contacted Eric's reps for a comment on the claims.
During their relationship together, the couple had just one son who is now 21 years old, called Finnigan Holden McCormack.
The pair first met in 1994 on the set of the TV series Lonesome Dove, where they kept their budding romance a secret from their colleagues.
Eric and Janet's last public engagement came back in March of this year at 31st annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party.
The pair seemed in good spirits at the event, and they were spotted holding hands as they walked down the red carpet.
Eric shared with The Guardian the story of how they met, and Janet's role in the programme, as he said: "She was the assistant director.
"I was just coming out of a relationship, and not to be trusted," he continued: "At first she wasn't too keen.
"She knew actors are a lot of work: it would be like taking your work home with you. But I managed to convince her. We had a secret affair the first season. I mean, dating crew! Actually, it was much worse for her, because she wasn't supposed to give any of the actors preferential treatment."
He confessed that their secret romance was filled with "danger" and excitement.
After hiding their love for a while, they finally went public when Janet left the series. Just five months after Eric got his big role on Will and Grace, they tied the knot in a ceremony in August 1997.
He said their love has kept him grounded over the years, and later told New Idea: "My marriage saved me."
Eric played Will Truman in the sitcom Will and Grace, which ran from 1998 until 2006, but it returned in 2017 for a shock reboot.
The reboot remained on our screens until 2020 when it came to an end after an impressive 11 series.
Eric stared in the show alongside many big names including Debra Messing, who played Grace Adler.
