THE Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen has opened up about a moment in her marriage that left ex-husband Clive "raging".
Amanda, 48, announced in June she and Clive had split after 22 years together.
She and Clive have attempted to keep life as settled possible for their nine children, Nancy, six, Clemmie, seven, Annas, nine, Sidney, 10, Violet, 12, Edith, 14, Miles, 16, Reuben, 18, and Raven, 21.
But Amanda has now recalled a moment from their marriage that had Clive asking: "Why can't you just be normal?"
Writing in her book, Celebrating The Seasons, she told how in 2019 she decided to run a fell race for the first time.
But worried she'd fail in front of the spectators, Amanda decided to run the course the night before.

Amanda revealed how she saw Clive standing on a pile of rocks in the middle of a river as she approached it, after he became worried about how long she was taking.
Unfortunately for Clive he ended up losing his balance and falling in, and Amanda said: "To say he was raging was an understatement."
Clive later yelled: "Why can’t yer just be bloody normal?"
Amanda recently confessed that the spit from Clive had been tough – especially with the cameras for their Channel 5 show Our Yorkshire Farm around.
