A fresh Brexit row has erupted within Tory ranks following the Government’s move to scale back a promised ‘bonfire’ of EU laws.
Business Secretary Kemi Badenoch has announced the reversal of a commitment to scrap thousands of leftover Brussels regulations by the end of this year.
Instead, just 600 pieces of EU-era legislation will be revoked by the end of December.
