This is the haunting moment a father sprints up to a house to try to rescue his kids after a woman looking after them posted a video saying she had killed them.
Jermaine Roberts is seen in the footage parking his white truck before running to the home in New Orleans, Louisiana, around 11am on Sunday.
He smashed his way in through a window and minutes later emerged with the youngsters and rushed them to hospital.
His daughter Paris, four, died from her wounds, while his two-year-old son was in a critical condition.
Janee Pedescleaux, who was with the kids and is listed as a guardian, earlier posted a horrific video on Facebook coated in blood saying she had killed them.
The 31-year-old wailed ‘my children are dead’ and ‘I’m done with life’ before trying to blame Jermaine.
She was later arrested for second-degree murder, attempted murder and second-degree cruelty to a juvenile.
The footage is understood to have alerted the children’s father to the incident and saw him race over and break into the house to try to save his kids (pictured)

Video taken from a neighboring home showed Jermaine pull up in his white truck before getting out and racing over to the house in the Florida area of the city.
He is later said to have burst out of the home with the girl in his arms and the boy trying to keep up behind them.
The desperate dad bundled them into his truck and rushed them to hospital, where his daughter tragically passed away and his son was in a critical condition.
Pedescleaux had earlier posted a delirious clip on Facebook yelling at the camera after the brutal attack.

Jermaine is believed to have seen the footage, raced over to the house in his white pick-up truck and smashed his way in through a window
She wailed ‘my children are dead’ and ‘I’m done with life’ before trying to blame Jermaine.

Pedescleaux, who lives in the Florida neighborhood in New Orleans, originally posted the twisted clip on her Facebook page before it was stripped down.
She is seen coated in her children’s blood while crying and screaming at the camera as she records herself.
She says: ‘I’m done. My children are dead. I’m done. I’m done with life.’ She later adds: ‘It’s all Jermaine’s fault.’
Pedescleaux and Jermaine are understood to have been in a custody battle for the youngsters when the vicious attack happened.
Court documents show Roberts claimed she was ‘not stable or providing a healthy environment for the kids’, with a hearing listed for later this month.
Pedescleaux was booked into Orleans Justice Center on Sunday afternoon.
