Fears are growing for missing woman, 26, who vanished on her way home from work – as police partially seal off a Tesco supermarket

  • Gabriella Kosilko, 26, was last seen in a shop on Fosse Road North in Leicester 
  • Her red Audi A1 was found abandoned in Ratby Lane at 4.20pm on Friday

Police have partially sealed off a Tesco supermarket as fears grow for a missing woman who vanished on her way home from work.

Gabriella Kosilko, 26, was last seen in a shop on Fosse Road North in Leicester last Thursday at 11.30pm. She was reported missing the next day after she failed to return home after her night shift.

Police revealed that her red Audi A1 was found abandoned and are now appealing to the public to help find Ms Kosilko. The £20,000 car was found in Ratby Lane in Leicester at 4.20pm on Friday.

As part of the ongoing enquiries to locate Ms Kosilko searches are being conducted in the Newton Linford area and around Groby Pool.

Police have cordoned off two areas of Leicestershire as part of its investigation into missing Gabriella Kosilko

An area behind a Tesco in the Beaumont Leys neighbourhood has also been cordoned off as part of the investigation.

Leicestershire Police said: ‘Officers are keen to speak to Gabriella or anyone who may have seen her since Thursday night.

‘She is described as being 5ft 5ins tall, of medium build, with light brown/red hair.’

Anyone who with information about Ms Kosilko’s whereabouts should call 101, quoting incident 484 of 1 September.
