Girl, 14, left with broken collarbone after woodland attack as cops hunt man in his 20s | The Sun

A TEENAGER has been left with a broken collarbone after a horrific attack in a woodland.

Cops are hunting a man in his 20s after a girl, aged 14, was assaulted in a wooded area in Brownhills, Walsall, about 7:30pm on Sunday.

The girl was found by responding police with a fractured collar bone, "amongst other injuries".

Patrols have been set up in the area and anyone who may have captured footage of the incident is urged to come forward.

Officers are looking to speak to a white man, about 27 years old, about 5ft 4in tall, of a stocky build.

He is described as having his hair gelled to one side.

The man was wearing a grey tracksuit top, with a white line across the centre, believed to be of the McKenzie brand, with grey Puma trainers.

A Staffordshire Police spokeswoman said: "Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the male or who may have any CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time."
