Heroin pusher's ringtone goes off saying 'It's your drug dealer' while he's being quizzed by cops | The Sun

A HEROIN pusher was being questioned by police when his ringtone went off, saying: “It's your drug dealer.”

A search of David Owens’ home then confirmed he was selling the Class A drug.

A court heard that he downloaded the novelty ringtone on to his phone after he started selling drugs.

Prosecutor Ian Wright said plain-clothed police officers saw Owens conducting “an exchange” on the street in January 2020.

He went on: “As Owens was being detained by officers his phone rang and the ringtone was, ‘Hello, it’s your drug dealer’.

“Owens was searched — becoming agitated — and was found to be carrying £180 cash.”

Owens, of Uplands, Swansea, previously pleaded guilty to possession of heroin with intent to supply.

He has 26 previous convictions for 159 crimes including perverting the course of justice, possession of cannabis and weapons offences.
