A BOY narrowly cheated death after being run over a train – but had his fingers sliced off.
Raju Kashyap slipped onto the tracks at a station in Uttar Pradesh, India, before a train steamed over him in front of horrified passengers.
He was getting off the train to buy water when he fell between the thin gap between the vehicle and the platform.
Dramatic footage shows fellow passengers crying out in fear as the train bound for Mumbai shot by.
Raju can be seen frantically ducking and trying to squeeze himself into a small gap.
Thankfully, he emerged alive as worried commuters jumped onto the tracks to help him.

But his fingers had been chopped off as the train passed in the shocking incident on Wednesday.
He was dashed to a health clinic before being transferred to hospital.
Doctors confirmed Raju lost two fingers from his left hand, the Times of India reports.
He also had to have stitches for a head injury
Janghai junction GRP chief Inamullah Khan told local media: "Raju slipped at the platform while attempting to board a moving train.

"His two fingers were crushed under train wheels, while at least four stitches were done to stop his head injury bleeding."
It comes after a woman crossing a railway dodged death twice as she went back to pick up a water bottle after being rescued from a train.
Video shows the woman crossing the line between two platforms at the station, rather than using the nearby footbridge just a few yards away.
The incident happened at the Shikohabad station in the Indian province of Uttar Pradesh, NDTV reported.
A quick-thinking station worker, named in local media as Ram Swaroop Meena, races to drag the woman dressed in yellow back on to the platform as a train approaches.

But as he picks up her back and stands back she bends down to pick up the water bottle sitting on the platform.
She picks up the bottle and gets her head out of the way in a fraction of second as the train hurtles by.
