The husband of a paedophile teacher who vowed to stand by her after she was jailed for having sex with a 15-year-old pupil has dumped her – and has found a new love.
Sordid miss Kandice Barber, 36, groomed the underage schoolboy, taking him to a field to sleep with him after murmuring ‘What do you want to do now?’ in his ear.
Despite the seriousness of the crime, husband Daniel was seen as a rock by her side, accompanying her to court and even giving evidence for her during the trial.
After she was jailed for six years and two months in 2021, he posted an online tribute of a Superman t-shirt, a kissing emoji and a caption reading ‘always’.
But MailOnline can reveal today their relationship is now over and Mr Barber is in a new romance with a woman named Charlotte Smith.

‘There’s no sign of him there these days.’
MailOnline was unable to reach Mr Barber for comment last night about his new relationship.

She was found guilty of one count of causing or inciting a child under 16 to engage in sexual activity.
At another trial the year before, Barber was convicted of sending a topless picture of herself to the boy and a video in which she was pleasuring herself with a sex toy.
After the second trial at Aylesbury Crown Court, Recorder Bal Dhaliwal described Barber’s grooming of the teenager as ‘beyond despicable.’
But Mr Barber stayed true to her and refused to believe his wife’s conviction for sending her victim a video of her surrounded by sex toys.
He said the video had never been produced so he believed his wife’s denial – even though a jury had convicted her.
Mr Barber insisted to a jury at the time: “Our relationship is how it is today, it has never changed. We have always been good and we have always been strong.
“When my wife is on the phone, I am not one of those people who constantly looks at her to see who she is on the phone to. I have full faith in her.”
He was asked about the video she had been convicted of sending.
Mr Barber said he was surprised to hear about it, adding: ‘There is no video.
‘There was no evidence of a video, so I cannot react to something I cannot see.’
