AN employer has been hailed the world's best boss after splashing out on a lottery entry for his employees.
Todd Graves gave each of his 50,000 Raising Cane's workers a chance to score the $830 million jackpot with a Mega Millions ticket.
At $2 per entry, the founder of the popular fast found chain forked over $100,000 to buy the entire staff their own docket.
Collecting the tickets – which were paid for in cash – took about eight hours as they were individually printed between two different gas stations, Metro reported.
Raising Cane's CEO AJ Kumaran confirmed the employees had been treated to a chance to win big in the lotto, courtesy of Graves.
He told Fox & Friends: "It’s not a joke.

"We’ve been around for 25 years now. We’ve always believed in staying together as a family, taking care of each other, everything."
He said the cost of living crisis faced by many around the world is making "things hard out there".
Kumaran explained: "People are seeing it in their grocery shelves, their gas stations. So when the jackpot came to this big, large number, we wanted to do this."
Graves said as soon as he'd heard about the jackpot, they didn't want to miss out.

He said: “None of what we do at Cane’s would be possible without our crew, which is why we are always looking for ways to bring them a little extra fun, and if we’re lucky, a surprise on Wednesday morning.”
Despite the good intentions, after the draw Graves shared an update to social media saying no one in his team had won big.
He said: "Didn’t win the jackpot this morning but we’re always winning with our great crew."
The Louisiana-based fast-food chain specialises in chicken fingers and was founded by Graves and Craig Silvey in 1996.
The sum has now climbed to over $1billion for Friday's draw and will be the 30th in this run.
Graves' generosity mirrors that of the big-hearted Sydney-based Soup Agency boss Katya Vakulenko who splashed out on a "working holiday" to neck cocktails by the pool.
Employees struck gold after the company owner boss jetted them off on an all expenses trip to Bali, Indonesia.
Colleagues at the marketing firm were also spoiled with yoga sessions and chowed down on fresh seafood as they traded in their stuffy office for a luxury villa.
