Video footage captured the outrageous moment a New York City influencer intentionally laid in between subway rails as a train passed over him.

The unidentified influencer is one of many on the @pleasedontlack0 Instagram page filled with sporadic ‘entertainment’ that describes itself as a media news company, and that appears to aggregate videos and articles from across the web for its over 36,000 followers.

‘Bro there’s mad space,’ a videographer told the influencer laying in the train tracks while measuring the gap between his friend’s shoulder and the rail with his hand. ‘You’re chilling bro there’s like mad space.’

‘I’m just paranoid about this,’ the influencer in the train tracks said as he mumbled under his mask in anxiety.

Seconds later, the camera footage shifts to the influencer’s head camera and he is briefly seen trembling as the train makes its way over him.

The stunt is deemed illegal, according to the MTA that warns about trespassing on tracks.

Video footage captured the obscure moment an influencer went in between NYC subway tracks to film a train glide over him

The influencer was accompanied by a camera man who ensured he had enough space before the train arrived. Meanwhile, the influencer also had a camera strapped to his forehead

The cameraman was seen measuring the amount of space between the influencer and the railroad tracks

Moments later, the train arrived and went right over the influencer as he was seen slightly trembling

The train approached the influencer and went over him for several seconds before he is quickly seen attempting to get up

Spectators on social media were nearly as anxious watching the influencer risk his life.

‘This made my anxiety go up,’ one person wrote on Instagram.

‘These are the types of people who think people are laughing with them,’ another added.

The video was re-posted by the Twitter page Crime in NYC – a page dedicated to calling out the chaotic occurrences in the Big Apple.

More than 3,000 viewers have tuned into the disorderly stunt and called out the younger generation’s need for attention and New York City going to waste.

‘This generation is all about look at me,’ one person wrote. ‘They are all in a very need of attention.

‘Between crime and stupids like this guy, city is dying too fast,’ another added.

Another person was more worried about commuters being late for their jobs.

‘If the train had directly hit this guy it would have been really unfortunate, mainly because people’s commutes would have been delayed.’

Commenters were quick to respond to the video that is slowly gaining traction

Some commenters said the influencer wanted attention while another commented on the delay his actions could’ve caused

Other’s mentioned how the sporadic video raised their anxiety

It appeared as if the influencer’s original Instagram page has been previously disabled. Another backup Instagram page is also advertised

The influencer’s original Instagram page, dubbed @_pleasedontlack_, appeared to be previously disabled at 53,000 followers. Meanwhile, the re-created Instagram page with 36,000 followers has a backup page with 12,000 followers.

It appeared as if the influencers must write ‘this post follows all community guidelines’ on every post to avoid being flagged for their content.

New York Police Department didn’t immediately answer an inquiry about the stunt.

The recent influencer was fortunate to not hit the electrified third rail that could’ve killed him.

Last month, four brazen thieves in the Bronx were robbing a 46-year-old passenger at gunpoint on the number two train located at E 174th street around 5.30am before they rushed away, according to police.

One suspect attempted to jump between train cars, but missed the jump, fell beneath the train, and was killed by the electrified third rail.
