A MAN has had to sleep on his living room floor for two years because his nightmare raving gran neighbour blasts out 90s dance music, a court heard.
Dominic Hyde, 57, says his life has been made a "living hell" for over 10 years by upstairs neighbour Heather Akinwunmi.
The businessman, who lives in a converted Victorian house in Brixton, south London, claims the music-loving granny is punishing him and his family.
Dominic said he was initially on good terms with Heather, who is in her 50s, but things changed when she started a campaign of harassment.
The court were played more than a dozen clips from over the years of thumping music coming through the ceiling of Dominic's flat – leaving him "sleep deprived".
The husband and dad-of-two has since been forced to leave his bedroom, which is most affected by the noise, and sleep on a mattress in the lounge.

However Heather claims the music isn't hers as she only listens to Capital, Choice and Heart FM.
Judge Alan Saggerson, sitting at Central London County Court, was told the argument started when Heather accused her neighbours of making her flat smell, adding: "If I'm not going to sleep, you're not going to sleep."
Dominic said in 2017 she started playing music before leaving the flat for two days.
He said: "Music was played non-stop for 48 hours and she said she was doing it for revenge.

"Her logic was that she was saying we were putting smells through her floors.
"We weren't doing it at all and we couldn't convince her we weren't. We had no way of remedying this."
In other videos, Heather's eight-and-a-half-stone bull mastiff can be heard barking into the night.
Dominic claims his family are now living in silence to avoid triggering their upstairs neighbour.
He added: "It has destroyed us.
"That's how we live. We live in silence.
"We want to be left alone and have a quiet life."
Barrister George Woodhead said the family are at their "wits' end" and concerned for their health.
It comes as the court heard Heather had been pouring dirty bathwater into the Hydes' garden and allowed fleas to come through their ceiling.
Mr Woodhead said: "So as far as Mr and Mrs Hyde are concerned, they and their young family have been plagued by the harassment, nuisance and annoyance of Ms Akinwunmi for over a decade.
"It has had a detrimental effect on their health and livelihoods beyond the disruption of sleep and everyday enjoyment of their flat.
"They come to court desperate for a remedy which will give them peace and respite from her un-neighbourly and, at times, malicious conduct."
The family are now asking for the court to ban Heather from causing a noise nuisance and a £30,000 payout for damages.
However, Heather says her neighbours are "sensitive".
She told the county court: "I can't do anything without them complaining.
"I don't play that sort of music.
"I don't listen to songs like that. I listen to Capital, Choice and Heart FM.
"I don't accept that that music is coming from my flat.
"It's only the radio that plays, I don't play music in the night."
Her barrister, Elizabeth Fisher, told the judge there was "clear animosity" between the two and Heather felt "intimated" at times by Dominic.
Ms Fisher said: "This situation is so poor that Ms Akinwunmi will aver that whatever noise is heard, Mr and Mrs Hyde will immediately look to blame her, rather than looking at the matter objectively.
"They have a heightened and growing sensitivity towards noise, particularly noise emanating Ms Akinwunmi's flat.

Judge Saggerson will deliver his ruling at a later date.
