Jill Biden's ex-husband slams 'Biden crime family' for targeting Trump

Bill Stevenson slams ex-wife Jill Biden and ‘dangerous Biden crime family’ for targeting Donald Trump – as Hunter’s tax fraud plea deal collapses

  • Bill Stevenson was married to First Lady Jill Biden from 1970 to 1975
  • He said in a new interview Joe Biden’s brother threatened him during his divorce
  • Stevenson previously claimed Joe and Jill Biden had an affair during his marriage

Jill Biden’s ex-husband has slammed what he described as the ‘Biden crime family’ for ‘targeting’ Donald Trump, as the president’s son Hunter faces mounting legal troubles.

Bill Stevenson, who was married to the First Lady from 1970 to 1975, previously told DailyMail.com that he was still married to Jill when she met Joe, and has always denied the Bidens’ well-publicized story of having meet on a blind date.

Speaking to Newsmax on Wednesday, the 75-year-old said the president’s brother Frankie Biden tried to intimidate him during his divorce to Jill, and claimed he faced repercussions when he did not listen to the alleged threats.

‘Frankie Biden of the Biden crime family comes up to me and he goes, “Give her the house or you’re going to have serious problems,”‘ Stevenson claimed.

‘I looked at Frankie and I said, “Are you you threatening me?” and needless to say, about two months later, my brother and I were indicted for that tax charge for $8,200.’

When asked to clarify whether he believed his ex’s second husband was behind the tax charge he faced, Stevenson said, ‘I not only think it, but I know it.’

He went on to compare his alleged situation to former president Trump’s legal woes; Trump is currently facing charges of conspiracy to obstruct justice, withholding a document or record, corruptly concealing a document or record, and concealing a document in a federal investigation.

‘I was on the wrong side of them and they have literally come after me for 35 years in a row,’ Stevenson, a staunch Trump supporter, continued.

‘It’s hard to believe what they’re doing to President Trump … I can’t let them do this to a president I love and respect…. This is the only reason I’ve come forward.

‘It’s like I said, nothing about the divorce, no bitterness, but Jimmy, Frankie, and President Biden are very dangerous, and it’s tragic. I can’t let them do what they did to me to President Trump. I can’t do it.’

Newsmax host Greg Kelly then compared the charges against Hunter Biden to those Stevenson faced. Hunter has plead not guilty to failing to pay between $1.1 million and $1.5 million in federal taxes in 2017 and 2018.

Kelly pointed out Hunter is charged with misdemeanors for high amounts, while Stevenson was hit with felony charges for smaller ones.

DailyMail.com has reached out to the White House for comment on Stevenson’s claims.

Stevenson met Jill in August 1969, and the pair married six months later, when Jill was 18 years old.

As DailyMail.com has previously reported, Stevenson claims he introduced her to the future president.

At the time, Joe was a council member campaigning for the U.S. Senate, and was married to his first wife, Neilia.

Stevenson accused Joe’s brother Frankie of threatening him to get him to leave his home to Jill Biden during their divorce

‘I threw a fundraiser for him in August, raised between $2,500 and $3,000,’ said Stevenson.

‘I introduced Joe to Jill in 1972. Right before the election, in ’72,

‘Jill, Joe, Neilia and I were in his kitchen. How do you forget that?’

Neilia Biden would die four months later, in a car crash in December 1972.

Stevenson said he first suspected Biden and Jill were having an affair in August 1974. He was then 26, Jill was 23 and Joe was 31.

In October, he said he was certain Jill was having an affair.

Their car, a brown Corvette, was involved in a crash in May, he discovered, and, surprised, he asked the man who informed him about the crash for details.

‘He looks at me and says oh, she wasn’t driving.

‘I said, her beloved Corvette, she wasn’t driving? He said, no, Senator Biden was driving.’

Stevenson said he then confronted Jill, and asked her if she was having an affair with Biden.

‘She didn’t say anything – she just looked at me,’ he recalled.

‘I said you have to go. You have to get your own place.’

Stevenson and Jill divorced in May 1975.

Jill and Joe say that they did not meet until March 1975, when the divorce was nearly finalized.
