Madonna’s high school yearbook which includes a racy limerick she wrote about a friend in 1975 has emerged for sale for $3,500.
The singer was aged 17 when she appeared in the 1975 Rochester Adams High School yearbook which is currently listed for a minimum bid of $3,500 on an auction website.
Inside the annual is a handwritten and signed limerick poem about her friend Lori Snow, composed by the pop star when she was a junior in high school.
The cheeky note written by Madonna said that her friend, who performed with her in a school play, was ‘pretty horny’ and a ‘great lay’.
Madonna, who goes by her birth name Madonna Ciccone, is featured in a sweet head and shoulder image in the yearbook with her surname slightly misspelt.

There is also a photo of the dark-haired teen dancing on stage in three-quarter-length trousers in the documentary film ‘Truth or Dare’.
Her poem, in full, reads: ‘ There once was a girl named Lori and she was pretty horny
‘then she came to Mrs Kitchen and heard all her bitchen…
‘well that’s a different story!’
She adds: ‘Besides having a beautiful voice and disposition your a great lay! Come back to Rock-chester and visit me. I think of you and miss you (Honest) Good luck, Madonna’.’
It was not until her mid-20s that Madonna found fame in 1983 with her self-titled debut album, becoming an 80s superstar.
Now, the 9-by-12-inch yearbook for the high school in Rochester Hills, Michigan, US, is going under the hammer with auctioneers Nate D Sanders, of California.
It has been consigned by Lori who has kept hold of it for five decades.

A Nate D Sanders spokesperson said: ‘This 1975 Rochester Adams High School yearbook features Madonna’s class photo on page 155, identified as ‘Madonna Ciccone, and also a photo of her dancing on page 67.
‘In the documentary film ‘Truth or Dare, Madonna reveals that she liked to write funny poems for her friends in high school, in this case, Lori Snow, a senior who performed with Madonna in a school play.’
The timed sale ends on March 3.
