A MAN has denied stalking Sir Gavin Williamson MP and impersonating a police officer.
Simon Parry, 44, was charged with following ex-minister Sir Gavin as he left Parliament, and pretending to be a cop.
He is also accused of flashing the politician a fake warrant card.
Mr Parry has previously claimed sinister forces are trying to reduce the world’s population with the covid vaccine.
Westminster Magistrates Court heard that he has spent several months living in a protest encampment outside Parliament.
He has no fixed abode but gave three bail addresses to the court – one of which is the property of climate change denier Piers Corbyn, brother of ex Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.

Prosecutor Ola Oyedepo said: “This is a matter where the defendant had followed an MP from the Houses of Parliament twice, firstly on the date 24 May and the other date being 14 June.
“The Member of Parliament had walked away from the House of Commons, he went down a number of roads and noticed the defendant was following him, he was trying to speak to him, was on the phone.
“He kept telling him he was on the phone, at a point the defendant told him he could or would arrest him and brought out a warrant card.”
As documents were organised for the hearing, accused Mr Parry asked: “Can I read out one of my poems while we wait?”

Sonia Larbi Aissa, defending, said: “Mr Parry currently resides in the protestor camp near Westminster.”
Mr Parry was granted conditional bail, asked not to approach Mr Williams, not to enter the City of Westminster, and to obey a curfew between midnight and 2am.
Responding to the first charge that he impersonated a PC, Parry, wearing a bright blue Superman-logo T Shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms in the dock, said: “Not guilty because I’m not guilty and that’s not true.”
Entering his pleas for the second charge, which includes that he threatened Mr Williamson with arrest, he said: “Not guilty because I didn’t try to arrest him, I pointed out that anyone could arrest him.”
South Staffordshire MP Mr Williamson resigned last autumn while mired in bullying complaints, having served as Secretary of State for Defence from 2017 and 2019 and Secretary of State for Education under Boris Johnson until 2021.
Mr Parry’s trial has been set for October 18 at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
