Man, 65, charged with murder of two women including one who vanished from off-licence last month | The Sun

A MAN has been charged with murdering two women including one who vanished from a shop last month.

Naomi Hunte, 41, was stabbed to death at a home in Greenwich, South East London, on Valentine's Day last year.

Fiona Holm, 48, was last seen leaving an off-licence in Bromley on June 20 and has not been heard from since.

Police believe she has been murdered due to the out-of-character nature of her disappearance.

Carl Cooper, 65, has now been charged with two counts of murder.

The 65-year-old, who is known to both women, is due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today.

Scotland Yard said: "Fiona’s disappearance was initially treated as a missing person investigation.

"The investigation was transferred to the Met’s Specialist Crime Command on Tuesday, 11 July due to the out of character nature of her disappearance and the amount of time since she had last been seen alive.

"The families of Naomi and Fiona have been updated on this development and are being supported by specially trained officers."

Anyone with any information relating to Fiona’s disappearance can call police on 101 or Tweet @MetCC quoting 22MIS023317.
