EXCLUSIVE: Holidaymaker partying at Wayne Lineker’s upmarket Ibiza club says he was beaten with bats, strangled and robbed and ended in hospital with suspected broken neck and skull fracture
- Callum McCormack was enjoying his 32nd birthday with girlfriend Hannah
- They were at O Beach Ibiza, Wayne Linker’s ‘ultimate day club experience’
A father partying at an upmarket Ibiza club owned by Wayne Lineker ended up in hospital with a suspected broken neck and skull fracture after allegedly being beaten with bats, strangled and robbed.
Callum McCormack was enjoying his 32nd birthday with girlfriend Hannah Fenwick at O Beach Ibiza – which is owned by Wayne Lineker, bills itself as ‘the ultimate day club experience’, and is popular with footballers and celebs – last Friday (June 2).
But their party went horribly wrong when a drunken man pushed Hannah into the pool – and a melee ensued.
Callum is then said to have pushed the man – which allegedly saw him pounced upon by others and dragged away for a beating.
Callum says the alleged kicking that followed only stopped when a female passer-by spotted it happening.

The 45-minute ordeal put Callum in hospital, for treatment costing £1,000, where doctors told him they suspected he had a ‘brain bleed’, while medical experts at home have warned him he may have fractured both his neck and skull.
Since the alleged assault, the pair have tried to contact O Beach Ibiza – which is situated in San Antonio on the West Coast of the White Island – without response and have now engaged a solicitor and are now understood to have reported the incident to Spanish police.
Hannah, 28, from Doncaster wrote about what her partner, who is a dad, allegedly endured on social media complete with photographs of his apparent injuries.
She wrote: ‘I want to raise as much awareness as possible so no one goes to this club and gets treated in the same way as us!!!!’ – she wrote: ‘My partner was left physically and mentally distraught.
‘He was bombarded and dragged away into the ‘infirmary’ and what happens next doesn’t even bare [sic] thinking about…..
‘He was strangled until he passed out, hand cuffed and repeatedly beaten.
‘Bouncing his head off the tiled floor, beaten with their fists, kicks and even with bats!!!!
‘Stamping on his head and giving him absolutely no opportunity to defend himself!

‘Now Callum is not a small man and I dread to think what would have happened to someone not as strong in trying to protect themselves!
‘He was laid in a ball on the floor genuinely thinking he was going to die!!!
‘These vile creatures stole his watch, and left him for dead.
‘They were ‘luckily’ disturbed by a woman passing, to what extent could this have gone if she hadn’t she hadn’t been there?
‘Hopefully Callum’s physical injuries will heal quickly but the psychological trauma will undoubtedly stay with him much longer.’
Hannah told how she and their group of mates felt powerless to help stricken Callum.
She said: ‘For around 45 minutes myself and my friends were repeatedly asking [O Beach] staff where he was and could we see him.
‘Numerous staff told us he was in the infirmary being treated for a ‘cut’, that he was fine and we could see him soon.
Hannah, 28, from Doncaster wrote on social media that her partner was left ‘physically and mentally distraught’
‘Eventually a member of staff approached me and said we could see him now and he was round the back [of the club]. [My] pictures are the state I found him in.’
Hannah said she found her partner sitting outside O Beach in a shocking state.
She recalled: ‘He was found on the curb outside the club, battered, bleeding from his ears, vomiting from the kicks to his stomach and in a state of shock!
‘I cannot describe what I felt seeing him in that moment, I have never been so terrified in my entire life!’
Callum was taken to hospital, where he had to pay for his own treatment.
‘This beating left him having to attend hospital in Ibiza at the advice of a Dr [sic] who suspected he had a brain bleed – This cost in excess of £1000!!!!,’ Hannah said.
‘Since returning back to England, we are now back in hospital with a suspected neck and skull fracture.’
With bikini-clad women dancing around the pool, bottles of £3,000 Dom Perignon sat on almost every table and a host of celebrities regularly dropping in, O Beach Ibiza is the jewel of Lineker’s £30 million nightclub empire.
Since the alleged assault, the pair have tried to contact O Beach Ibiza without response
On its website it claims to offer ‘a unique, lavish and fun lifestyle experience within a poolside environment enabling our customers to luxuriate in high-end service and aesthetically beautiful surroundings, all complimented with a credible sound track and world class entertainment.’
Last year Manchester City star Jack Grealish celebrated their Premier League title win by downing cocktails as he partied at Lineker’s establishment, alongside Ibiza Weekender star Chloe Chaloner.
In the past, England footballers including Joe Hart, Michael Carrick, Peter Crouch, Tyrone Mings, and Andy Carroll have all hired their own cabana for some poolside fun.
But Hannah is now warning others not to visit the club for their own ‘safety’.
She said: ‘[Callum’s] a partner, a father, a son a friend a HUMAN – And nobody should ever have to endure such violence and trauma!
‘He has been left physically and emotionally traumatised by the events of that day and I would urge everyone not to visit O Beach
She says O Beach Ibiza management have so far failed to respond to any of their approaches.
‘I as well as other family members have sent emails but surprisingly no response or a care in the world!!!,’ she claimed.
A source close to the couple told MailOnline: ‘As O Beach have not responded to any of their attempts to contact them, Callum and Hannah are taking it further.
‘They have engaged a solicitor and have made a reported it to the police.’
O Beach Ibiza has been approached by MailOnline for a comment.
