A man was stabbed to death last night after a car he was travelling in was rammed by another vehicle and then attacked by a gang.

The victim, in his 50s, sustained ‘serious inquiries’ and died following the knife attack in Castle Bromwich, West Midlands, yesterday evening.

At around 8.15pm, officers were called to Chester Road following reports that a man had been stabbed.

Investigators believe the victim had been travelling in a car which was rammed by another vehicle.

He was then attacked by a number of people who then fled from the scene, they say.
