Moment hooded man stalks past houses with ‘machine gun’ as cops hunt suspect | The Sun

THIS is the disturbing moment a man is spotted stalking past houses with what appears to be a machine gun.

Police have launched a manhunt after the man seems to swing and point the ‘weapon’ around Gravesend, Kent.

Cops were called to Pelham Road on September 2 at 6.10am after locals raised the alarm, but the man was not found after a three-hour search.

A drone was also deployed by the Kent Fire and Rescue Service in an attempt to locate the man who was dressed entirely in black clothing.

In one video posted to social media, titled “Good old Gravesend”, the man points the alleged firearm straight ahead of him and starts to run.

The witness who filmed the incident wrote in an Instagram post: "Nice thing to turn up to work to this morning… Someone chasing people around with a machine gun. Good old Gravesend."

It is not clear exactly what the man is carrying or if it is actually a firearm.

In another clip he is seen ducking and using the ‘weapon’ as a walking stick as he strolls past a driveway.

Detective Chief Inspector Chris Rabey said: “An investigation to establish the full circumstances is ongoing and our officers are continuing to explore several lines of enquiry to identify and locate the suspect.

“It is important we speak to the man pictured and I would urge anyone who recognises him or who has any other information to call us on 999, quoting reference number 46/157727/23.”
